There was no extended Christmas holiday for business owner Heatha Edwards of Waipukurau based Harcourts Team CHB Ltd, as she prepared to open a new office on High Street in Dannevirke.

On 23 January, the doors officially opened to the public with a cocktail party showcasing the brand new office and exciting collection of new listings and sales. Dannevirke locals have been extremely supportive, calling in to list and buy properties whilst the office was being refurbished by the local tradesmen.

Heatha is a seasoned business owner and highly successful sales consultant, having been with Harcourts for 25 years. Working alongside Heatha, and operating out of the new Dannevirke office, is long standing local, Bec Adie. Bec has been serving the Dannevirke area for 12 years, working from the Waipukurau office.

Bec is joined by Gary Petersen, who recently joined Team CHB after completing his training with Harcourts in Katikati.  When Gary moved back to Dannevirke and heard Harcourts was coming to town, he was keen to join the team.

“City dwellers are discovering the many joys of places like Dannevirke and prices have jumped over the last few years”, says Heatha. “The demand we’ve had from vendors and buyers made it essential for us to open an office in Dannevirke. We offer the full range of services, selling residential, lifestyle, commercial, rural, and property management, and have two quality agents who believe in putting clients first.”

“Country towns like Dannevirke are a fantastic place to live and work, and they have a great community spirit. Bec has been living here forever so she knows this community inside out,” explains Heatha. “She provides exceptional service which is why she gets so much repeat business from her satisfied clients, and Gary brings a wealth of knowledge in the practical side of property from a building and maintenance perspective.”

The opening of a second office in Dannevirke reflects the strong performance of the real estate markets in the Hawke’s Bay and Manawatu regions. “Heatha is a highly experienced real estate professional”, says Harcourts Managing Director Bryan Thomson. “Dannevirke will be extremely well served by her and her team of local experts.”
