The Hearing House, Greenlane are now able to future proof in-house income generation thanks to a $4950 donation by Harcourts Charlton Realty, Epsom through the Harcourts Foundation.
The donation to The Hearing House will go towards the purchase of 30 conference chairs to be used in the community room of their new centre.
The provision of these chairs will be used by The Hearing House staff to run a variety of events including workshops for parents, graduations, staff workshops, lectures, staff meetings, playgroup and music therapy as week as board and staff meetings and he ability to lease the space out to other groups to benefit the wider community.

The Hearing House serves the needs of hundreds of hearing impaired children, their families and adults from across New Zealand. They currently work with 293 children under the age of 19, of which 76 are aged under 5.
