Hamilton’s Brian King, business owner of Harcourts Hamilton, one of Harcourts most successful real estate businesses, has received the honour of a Hamilton Civic Award.

Mr King, who has been part of the team at Harcourts since 1991 was awarded this honour at a ceremony at the end of last year.

Harcourts International Chief Operations Officer Jo Clifford says the honour is thoroughly deserved. “Given his achievements in business and across the wider industry, I’m thrilled to see Brian receive this special honour. Brian has also given exceptional service to the community and his work in and around Hamilton is undeniable. Harcourts Foundation are just one of the many recipients of Brian’s generosity.”

Totally invested in his community and giving back’, Mr King says he “never did the work to gain recognition, and rather it was driven through a dedication to see local charities and organisations succeed. He is involved in many charities and many sporting organisations but has a passion for the involvement with Hospice Waikato.”

He continued, “this award came as a complete surprise, I am so proud and humbled to have been recognised in this way.”

Director of Harcourts Monarch Real Estate Limited in Hamilton Campbell Scott added, “this award recognises Brian’s decades of exceptional and selfless contribution to many organisations in our community.  The team at Harcourts Hamilton are immensely proud of Brian.”053_CivicAwards_14Dec18 - Copy
